These terms apply when you install or use Kestrel Search on a Wix site.
Kestrel Search indexes the products, blog posts and CMS collection items on your Wix site and provides a search box your visitors can use. It keeps the index current by listening for changes you make in your Wix dashboard.
Static site pages are not indexed. Wix does not provide an API for them.
Wix handles all billing. Kestrel Search never sees or stores your payment details.
If your site has more items than your plan allows, the items above the limit are not indexed and your visitors will not find them. The app dashboard states how many items this affects.
Cancel any time from your Wix subscriptions page. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are handled through Wix.
Do not use the service to index content you do not have the right to publish, to attempt to reach another site's data, or to place automated load on the service beyond normal site traffic. Search requests are rate limited per site.
The service is provided as is, without an uptime guarantee. Indexing depends on webhooks delivered by Wix and on third party infrastructure, so delays outside our control are possible. You can rebuild the index at any time from the app dashboard.
To the extent permitted by law, liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. The service is not liable for lost sales, lost data held elsewhere, or indirect damages.
These terms may change. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. You may uninstall at any time. Access may be suspended for breach of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States.
A plain description of what Kestrel Search stores, where it stores it, and how long it keeps it.
Kestrel Search does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not store anything that identifies an individual site visitor.

Nothing about your customers, orders, carts, members or contacts is read or stored. The app requests read access to products, inventory, blog posts, CMS data and site URLs only. You can see the exact permission list before you install.
In a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase in the AWS US West region, United States. The application itself runs on Wix's app hosting. Access to the database is restricted to the application; row level security is enabled with no public access policies.
While the app is installed on your site. When you uninstall, your indexed content, search logs, queued change events and indexing state are deleted. A record that the app was once installed is retained, with the site details cleared.
Deleted items are marked as removed immediately so they stop appearing in search, and the underlying rows are cleared within seven days.
Your data is not sold, and is not shared with third parties for advertising. Two processors are used:
Uninstalling deletes your data as described above. You can also request a copy of what is stored for your site, or its deletion, by email. Requests are answered within 30 days.
